Get some Arko. After you shave with your normal soap... Try it only in the fold of your jaw in a small circle like an inch. Let it dry on your skin, wash off, do your AS, Then proceed with your day. If it irritates you, mail it to me. I will absolutely mail you $5 plus your postage. I think it's that mild.
Well IDK man, Speick Cream is supposed to be good for sensitive skin and I broke out in hives. But arko is cheap enough.
If it helps you feel a bit more optimistic Mark.... My skin is very sensitive, to the point that even the light scent in Nivia creams causes problems. I have no issues with Arko at all. It is one of my favorite soaps.....
Alternately, cut three coin discs, line bowl... Proceed. The heavenly lemon goodness will move to the background.
The "scent" of mine that I transferred to a bowl has changed a lot. I think there may now be something amiss with me as I keep checking by having a sniff as I go past. I'm not at the stage yet of purpose driven trips to smell the soap.
