Ashes and sack cloth

Hello everyone. My name is Tedolph. I come here in ashes and sack cloth having been banned from another shave forum. I would like to believe that I have learned my lesson but frankly, I don't really understand what I said that was so objectionable. So, if I offend you would you please send me a PM before you ban me?

I shave with a modded Gold Dollar 208 straight razor and some times my beloved Vallet Auto Strop single edge razor with Feather SS blades. My favorite soaps are Cella, VDH deluxe and Fine Accoutrements. My favorite aftershaves are made by House of Pinaud and sometimes Pino Sylvestre just to change things up a bit.

If it happens to be B&B you were banned from consider it a badge(r) of honor. Whatever forum you got banned from it is their loss and TSD gain.

 

It was. I don't blame the moderators-there are only five of them and they just don't have time to handle "problems". So, I just have to be careful not to say anything that somebody might take personally. I have come to understand that some people, not all, come to forums like these for personal affirmation and any disagreement with their opinion is a personal offense. I will strive to avoid that.

Welcome @Tedolph from here in western NY. Glad you decided to join us here at TSD.

Though I haven't been banned from any of shave sites ..... I did publicly call out a few of the moderators of B&B for participating in a verbal beat down of a fellow member. I even told them I fully expect to be booted after calling them a bunch of spineless thugs ...... surprisingly I'm still a member there. I rarely go there ..... I tire of walking on eggshells .... I'm far too heavy to pussyfoot.

Welcome, @Tedolph ! Many here have been banned or suspended from other forums! The one thing here that is frowned upon are mean-spirited personal attacks. We’re a pretty friendly welcoming bunch here! Welcome from Philly, Pa.
