    Allow me to jump in. The answer is simple. Regardless of the shape of the room you cannot send misbehaving children to the corner. We wouldn't want to ruin their self-esteem or make them feel bad about themselves.

    If the teachers all had the personality of my JHS(now Middle Schools)gym teacher, the kids would have to just stand up and hold their noses until they said they were sorry and will never do again whatever they did.
