Thread bump. A New offering from Atelier Durdan. It's the N°7 razor in DE format. Craftsmanship is superb with a melding of vintage, contemporary and retro art deco styling that is truly a work of razor art. This particular sample is made of 316/L Stainless and offers multiple blade gap plates from .3mm all the way up to 1.5mm in a sort of hybrid open/closed comb design, reminiscent of the La Faux safety bar design. The kit was shipped in their optional premium box presentation that very classy and well padded with multiple slots for any additional hardware. Stand is included as well. This unit is part of a pass around that I'm participating in and with just 2 shaves in, it's a very, very capable shaver with a French influence on design & function. Some pics below. And yes, for those old grumpy types that walk out onto their yards in the morning and shake their fists at the clouds above & complain why can't today's kids mow the lawn for $5 bucks, it's expensive. We're not in Kansas anymore Dorothy and neither is it 1969....
Beautifully and presented crafted razor! I have a coupla nice watches, but I still let my friends with G-Shocks swim in the pool.
