    No prep except a shower
Merkur Progress w/ various blades and settings 4-5
    Simpson's Commodore x1
    Haslinger soap w/ various scents
    Aqua Velva

I have been using wtg-xtg shaves as part of my no irritation focus. The really aggressive settings have helped maintain some smoothness while minimizing irritation. The Haslinger soap has been good stuff, but I won't go as far as saying it is as good as MWF ,for my money( I've read that a lot.).
My work schedule has been all over the page lately, so I haven't been able to post much lately.

    Good shaves all around!!

    Razor: Schick G1 injector
    Brush: JR #142 black badger
    Lather: Stirling The Lounge
Post: Witch hazel, Jeeves of Hudson Street Tobacco and Bay Leaf aftershave
    WTG, touch up

Really top notch shave this morning. This new Stirling 'The Lounge' is terrific. All Stirling is terrific in my book but today's lather was really something special. Take your time with Stirling and incorporate more and more water little by little and you'll be rewarded with beautiful, shiny, slick, and protective lather. It's always good stuff. This scent is great and the Jeeves tobacco splash makes it all better. Really a nice Saturday shave.

    Have a great weekend!

Decided to go with SDM again this morning. Great 3 pass shave no feed back from the Alum bbs all the way. 3rd use on a shark Super Chrome in the Gillette Slim dialed on 7.

    DAY 01 of 30:

So today began my 30 day Rule/Focus with the Timeless Ti, Voskhod blades, Arko lathered with an SOC boar, alum, witch hazel, and Nivea ASB.

Prep was a warm shower. While showering it was Dome Shaving Day, so I got a chance to use the Sudsy Soapery Lavender and Peppermint soap I received this morning. Used my RazoRock Baby Smooth (my head shaving razor...). Not super excited about the scent, but Oh My Goodness, the performance was incredible. Lathering with a small silver tip badger brush, I was literally astounded by the amount of thick, slippery and cushiony lather. I usually use Cremo for head shaves, quick and dirty, but with the Focus beginning today with Arko, I needed a chance to try the new Sudsy Soapery. Holy Buckets, an order with all flavors is on my horizon. I'm seldom blown away with the performance of a shave soap. This blew me away.

I worked the Arko in my palm into a yogurty lather, and applied to my hot water wetted face with rubbing and then hit it with the pre-soaked boar. Loaded a Voskhod into the Timeless and went to work WTG. Finished first pass, zero irritation. Finished XTG L-R, no irritation. XTG R-L, no irritation. Emboldened by yesterdays fantastic shave and good results thus far with the Timeless, I proceeded to ATG. NO IRRITATION! Completeness I would call a BBS-.

Rather in disbelief, I did a final cold water rinse and put alum to face. Literally zero burn. Only a barely perceptible gentle tingle in a couple places along my lower neck. Rinse again, apply witch hazel, let dry and applied the Nivea ASB.

30 minutes later I can say, absolutely no irritation on my neck. The best DE shave I've ever had (of about 60 so far...). I dare say, I'm somehow beginning to crack the code. Honestly, I think the key resides in my face adapting to DE. My technique hasn't changed much, and a razor that works for my face is critical, but the big factor at work here seems to be, simply time.

29 Focus days to go. I won't kill you with the daily blow-by-blow, but this focus seems to be a really good idea.

Fantastic Doug. I still can't get over how good your brush looks. Mine doesn't look nearly as shiny.

Clint, I'm REALLY taken with the Timeless. Everything about it seems to work for me. It simply checks off all of my boxes. It feels perfect in my hand, I love the weight, it's as smooth a shaver as any DE I've used, it's easy to maintain, it seems to agree with my skin...on and on. It's definitely my new daily driver.

I have a Timeless Stainless Steel OC 0.95mm gap with the scalloped top plate and it is one of my two favorite DE razors. The build quality and craftsmanship are really just about as good as it gets but the razor shaves even better than it looks.

Thanks very much Clint. I did what you suggested and got some finishing wax and apply it with a soft sponge. I buff with a soft cloth.
