    Great shave.

One of the fellas over in honing uses kapton tape. The reasoning is that it is a good deal thinner than the normally used black electrical tape. It keeps the angle more acute.

Wish I was better at honing than I am.

Soap: Jeeves Soaps Blood & Steel 30DC
Cologne: Folsom & Co. Shambala Aftershave
    Bowl: Timeless Ceramic Handmade Bowl

Great shave with this equipment. The brush and soap worked together to whip up an amazing lather. This soap is out of sight. The toad stuck around for the picture.
I took a bit of a fall while looking for a golf ball that didn't go where I expected. I hit my head on a rock as my foot slipped as I climbed an embankment. Not to worry the rock is okay. :happy088:

I think Barbershop will be my first Stoylin Body Wash order....could work with the Central Texas Soaps Grandpa's Barbershop followed as always by Clubman Original A.S. That way I could stretch it out for months(the Bodywash). Oh, and how can I forget the Clubman Shave Cream-working that in with a few choices for A.S(all of the Clubman variety). . Good, I just made more use for the Bodywash :).

Yes...well, let me begin by enabling myself to get a nice Central Texas Soaps package next month-the many times aforementioned Weekend Rodeo shave soap&A.S., and a Clean Shave handsoap.

Whether using a shavette or a straight razor, the ATG pass of the jawline and neck is the most difficult. I start from my ear going to my chin with the toe facing down. This maneuver may seem uncomfortable, but it becomes second nature and you get a BBS on the neck and jawline.

    Wow, bummer on the fall.

For me, I would say "good thing I landed on my head".

In my golfing days, (I was never good) my brother once got me into the TPC course at Sawgrass for a round. You weren't gonna see me looking for errant shots there. If I'm gonna be inside an alligator, I want it to be boots.

I have done that move exactly like that successfully, but I have never been as comfortable with it as I need to be for a routine change.

Besides, being the 'class clown' I am prone to cheat. All them safety razors sitting right there just calling me to use them on that 'one last swipe' is sometimes hard to resist.

Do I get detention hall again? After all I fessed up.

Thank you Perry. New low profile golf shoes. Very comfortable but not good for traction. :)

    August 18, 2019
    Gillette 1947 Super Speed
    Gillette 7 o’clock Blue
Rudy Vey Briar with Shavemac Finest
    Stuga Lemon Myrtle Shave Soap
    Myrsol Agua de Limon

I am moving pretty slow this morning. I barely got in the shower and shave before noon. The Rudy Very Briar was the first custom brush I ordered and is still one of my favorites. The Shavemac finest loaded and lathered the Stuga Lemon Myrtle with ease. Three passes and touch ups had the baby in range. I decided to relather my neck and go for a 4th pass which caught the little guy with ease. A splash of the Myrsol Limon left me clean shaven and smelling great. I hope everyone has a great Sunday.

:thanks: Clint. You are right as rain Amigo. The Folsom & Co. Shambala is outstanding! Just happy I didn't hurt the rock.
