Tuesday morning woke up to a quick thunderstorm, here and gone.
So in the mailbox last night was a nice little package that had been opened and resealed at least twice. Whoever opend it didn't even try to be humble about that.
I had ordered a Rapira razor some time ago, well, from a Russian of course. The package looked pretty bad, but the razor made it here OK. Now Patrick @9nein9 said it was a great little razor, for a cheapy, well I'm all in. Loaded it with a new Feather blade and went to work. Using the PAA Bay Rum made great lather as always. This little tool looks like you'd get it in the toy section at wallyword, it shaves like a dream. Lotsa blade happening here, this bad boy ain't no toy. Lighter than most, but effective like a slim or fatboy on say 11. Patrick was spot on when he described the way this mows down the wiskers. 2 passes on the mug, 2 passes on the head this morning and I'm where I like to be. No issues, just a surprising shave from an unlikely little razor.

Looks like I'll be getting a couple more of these, just in case. ;)

Very nice, James. The Hemingway rivals the most expensive shave products on the market.

Jason @jtspartan did an amazing job on the handles and paired with the 28mm Maggards SHD bulb it's a favorite if not the favorite in my collection.

    August 20 SOTD:

    Razor: Gillette Fatboy
    Blade: Gillette Nacet
    Brush: Razorock 400
    Lather: La Toja Shave Stick
    Aftershave: Clubman VI Bay Rum

A great two pass shave for a DFS this morning. The Fatboy is one of my favorite razors, so it sets up a great shave. I hope everyone has a great day!

Prep: Cold water and Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap
    Blade: vintage Schick Plus Platinum
    Razor: Schick M adjustable
    Brush: Artisan badger
Soap: Jeeves of Hudson Street Blood on Steel
Post: Witch hazel, Jeeves of Hudson Street Blood on Steel aftershave

Fine shave this morning with Jeeves Blood on Steel. Nice Tobacco Tuesday option and wonderful performance all around. I like the wide containers that Byron used for this soap. Nice and easy to load.

    Have a great day!
