How about wire rims? I've been wearing the same style of glasses since I was in my twenties!

I thought Clark Kent wore horn-rimmed glasses ala the 1950's TV George Reeves.

Yeah that is too bad! Light razors are my nemesis. As far as safety razors are concerned, “weight is great”!

Thanks guys. I appreciate the kind words. I enjoyed another fine shave today using the same set up as yesterday. I'll put the gear away at month's end and break out some different stuff for September. Is it September already?

My Bride's doctor visit went well today, and we have a plan regarding her heart care. Time will tell if all of her heart function will recover, but she continues to get stronger and feel better each day. I expect my appointment to be uneventful on Friday. The docs are looking for changes to a small area on one of my lungs. As of last year, it had not changed. I'm thankful for all the diagnostic tests available to us, and I'm learning from my Bride that early detection is a good thing.

We cooked our first dinner at home tonight since May. I'd call that another milestone. :) We're pretty much settled. I sweat more here in one day this week than I did all summer in Minnesota, but I'll have the last laugh come next January. ;)
