    cool red tip shave Joe,good morning.. i have used hair conditioner on my boar brushes when breaking them in..good results so far..

    Excellent shave and pool side photo, Joe! I've had my eye on the red handled similar version of your new brush (although I believe it has a slightly smaller knot). Once you break it in, I am sure it will be a wonderful performer.

    I've had another instance of great customer service from them in the past in which they went beyond the call of duty. I dealt with Mary from their customer service concerning this current instance.

    Good morning everyone!

    Shavette shave #188

    Parker SRB
    Van der Hagen 1/2 DE Blade (5)
    Semogue OC Super Badger Brush
    Fine Italian Citrus Soap
    Clubman Lilac Vegetal

    Since my 10 consecutive daily shaves, I am on a kick to shave 24 hrs instead of my usual 36. Last year @Hembree Danny gave me this soap (unused) to honor my status of completing 100 Shavette and 100 traditional straight shaves (200 open blade shaves) and I havd only used it once. As I remembered it, the soap was easy to lather and gave a beautiful creamy lather and the result was the same for today's shave. I used my empty Stirling Sandalwood tub to keep the soap contained.
    The scent is very faint, but it did become a little more pronounced as I facelathered, but it still was faint. Did 2.5 passes and got a BBS shave without irritation or using a styptic pen. Applied the Veg to finish this nice, comfortable shave. Have a wonderful day guys! 20200803_223630.jpg
