I guess I am...another hornet got me about 2 hours ago. Damn! :angry019:
Must have been a straggler looking for its home. This one got me on the soft tissue just near the inside left ankle bone. I'm not a happy camper right now.

Thank you, Jeff. For the record, I had already picked my razor and took the picture before I saw your post today. :D
Those hornets are just pure vicious. I'll try the vinegar if there is a next time. After tonight's third hornet sting, I used the same witch hazel, moist tobacco and Benadryl routine.

Sorry about that extra hornet SOB. Hope you destroyed the nest. I was stung on the sole of my foot by a ground dwelling hornet about a week ago. The vinegar killed the venom, and I then killed the hornets. Kerosene and a match are the hornet equivalent of Dresden during the firebombing. It’s awful to say, but I did find watching them burn quite satisfying.

I can't imagine the pain from a hornet sting on the sole of your foot. Ouch! My ankle is killing me tonight.
The nest was made in a weird place. The hornets somehow made a nest inside a baseball equipment bag that was on a shelf in the semi-underground storage beneath my garage (sloped lot). The paper like nest overflows to the outside where the zipper wasn't closed all the way, which is how I spotted it. I haven't opened the bag yet, but I coated it with Wasp/Hornet spray. After doing that, I thought it was toasted. Normally I would have just set it on fire, but I want the preserve the baseball equipment inside.

at the time many felt the same about the dresden ordeal .especially some blitz survivors who lost everything and loved ones..i have heard stories from my relatives..will leave that there.hornets are nasty creatures that have little purpose..
