    I've never "bought" the theory that a scent can smell "dated". It either smells good or it doesn't. In my case, my wife did not grow up in the U.S., so what's old is new regarding what I like to wear. She likes when I wear Old Spice or Aqua Velva, among other "old-school" scents.
