Just a little thread, for members to air talk about some Bad Blades they have run into. Pics are encouraged. Please explain what, in your view, makes them a bad blade. Super-Max Platinum The top pic was pulled off the internet, to show the Tuck, it came in. To start, I was in a hurry, for the shave, and the blade I had in there was used approximately 5+ times. I felt like a fresh blade. Well, I had a small pile of loose blades, wrapped, in a bowl. I have quite a few individual blades, that have been given to me, over the years. To start, I had very good preshave prep, in the shower, and used ARKO, a tried a trusted soap. The first stroke told me everything I needed to know. I use my trusted Gillette Fatboy E-1, refurbished, and replated. The shave tugged from the beginning, like a blade that needed to be thrown out, three or four shaves ago. My suggestion, run from these, even if offered for free. Life is too short, for bad shaves.
