I'm almost completely at a loss for words. Rolls was a wonderful person and a good man. I will miss him greatly.

My deepest condolences.

 

I really am at a loss here.

Never really played in the HYD thread much but the posts I read from, and the genuine demeanor of, your Dad really reminded me of my old man.
Rolls seemed to have that crusty exterior but underneath it I figured he had a good, kind heart.
Several comments made over the last few weeks made me wonder how ill he must have been but I didnt realize he was so bad off.

So long old friend. I'm extremely gratified to hear he took away some small measure of joy from TSD that helped improve his life. Know that he did the same for us. The place will be a little bit bleaker without him around. I am deeply saddened to hear of his passing, and at the same time so very happy he had the opportunity to reconnect with you and your family in a meaningful way Jason. Heartfelt sympathies from my family to yours.

I enjoyed his posts and sense of humor.......the kind of person who makes a place like this a better one. I'm sure many of us will miss him.

I am so sorry to hear this news. As a member of his band of outcasts from "across the street" I feel I can safely say that the striped sweater brigade will sorely miss him. I offer my condolences and heartfelt sympathies to you and your loved-ones in this time of loss. May his soul rest in peace and may he eternally have wonderful shaves.

 

Rolls, we will miss you. Thank you for letting us know. Rolls was an interesting man. He cracked me up. I often didn't know how to tell if he was being serious, but I soon found out that he almost always was. He livened the place up, and I will miss seeing him around. I am glad that he got his life together and got to be part of your kids lives and re-unite with you. That means a lot. I send my condolances, and wish you the best.

I'm going to miss you dude. I was really looking forward to meeting up at Conewago to do some fishing now that the weather was breaking.... finally get to meet the ol' codger.
