Can anyone tell me what the deal is with USA made Bakelite razors? I seen one said it was US Navy issue is there anyway you can tell?

You can't pin it down. Except you can gather a list of all the different razor brands bought by the Navy to supply troops and canteens.
Or the razor comes with it's original box listing the inventory number.

They were not necessarily bought by the US Navy. They were supplied through the Quarter Master. Troops could purchase them as needed. There were other brands that supplied into the Quater Master: Star, Clix, Simplex, Gem, etc. Many of them fell under Jersey City Quarter Master Depot (JCQMD); Stock Number 29-R-1035, Dated: 5/08/1942.

Yeah I thought so it looked liked it was made in UK? I think the handle was made in UK with USA head on it bc USA is stamped on it. I got it for $7 figured it was worth trying plus I like the handle.
