They are also a Dorco . I like them for head shaves . I just think it's weird that all these companies are rebranding Dorco but I can't go in a store and buy Dorco.
Dorco saw what Harry's did, let DSC copy it, then decided to seek more market share by rebranding for anyone who'll sign up. Why sell and pay for marketing to consumers when others will do it for you? It's brilliant strategy on the part of Dorco. Maybe a little annoying, but only because you see through it and know the real source of all the blades.
Barbasol Brotherhood SOTN BBS shave with first use Personna in FTSS. Two passes and a touch up. Barbasol in bowl with warm water added , brush applied. This is my first time trying Pacific Rush. I have looked everywhere local for the AS. I finally gave in and ordered the balm online. I think it might become my favorite. This was a fantastic shave , Cheers! Sent from my LGLS755 using Tapatalk
Well whaddya know? Barbasol is coming out with an "Afer shave Balm" of their own-just as Rise has done.
It's not on thier website but Amazon still had it. I've seen on YouTube that Big Lots stores have it for $1.50 ..... None in my area of course . My SOTD wasn't Barbasol but I have seen this goo talked about here. The Pinaud is more pricey but a great can for a good Pinaud shave. Sent from my LGLS755 using Tapatalk
No I haven't tried the soap .Only the foam and barber creme . I have a drug store that sells most of the aftershaves and the goo. They also carry the hair stuff but I have no need for that lol.
As far as can stuff I have all the Barbasol line , Noxzema Sensitive , Nivea gel , Gillette gel and the Clubman. Also a can of blue goo I bought on vacation at a dollar store.
I know there is much love for soaps and whipping up a good lather in the DE community. I have tried several , enjoy some and some not so much .As far as the claims that you get a better shave with soap ... Not in my case . Even back before I got into DE shaving I always used can goo or gel with a brush. My brush has improved since and I've added a bowl. Unless I'm shaving in shower I put Barbasol in the bowl . I add water to thin it down quite a bit. Whip it around and apply with brush . It works just as well as soaps for me - quality of shave.
I've had a few rougher than usual shaves lately as I try to use up some Shark Stainless blades that aren't my faves. So today instead of a posh Italian soap or an artisan cream I went with good ol' Barbasol brushless in the tube- they call it Therapeutic for Sensitive Skin. Slickest product ever made! Terrific skin care as well. Two passes with a Superspeed tamed that angry Shark. Finished with a little Superior 70 mentolado and a few spots of that new Aqua Velva balm and my skin feels nourished and even pampered. "No brush, no lather, no rub in; wet your razor, then begin..."
A in shower head and face shave featuring The DSC Executive . Been a while since I shaved with it. I figured since it's the same as the new Barbasol razor I'd give it a revisit. Great shave. Cheers ! Sent from my LGLS755 using Tapatalk
