Barbasol Yellow is good. Barbasol is my favorite foam in a can. I mostly only use it for body shaving in the shower.

As I've been describing in other threads, my last two Barbasol shaves commenced with a quick POP of cream before I could complete the squeeze motion. I like Barbasol a lot, but what's goin down here????

Must be similar to Aqua Velva.

Barbasol is a long time tradition and I simply love it - almost use it everyday (when I don't want to whip-up lather).

Been using Barbasol with aloe the past few shaves. Surprisingly good! Did not expect such good results after months of tub creams and brushes.

Finished tonight's shave - Feather Popular, Derby blade, Barbasol - with some Aqua Velva Ice Blue. Old school and BBS. Can't complain at all.

I used Barbasol when I was cart shaving and my son likes using it now. It's easy, does work, isn't overly expensive and it's a tiny bit quicker than making up a lather from scratch. However I haven't used anything from a can since learning how to lather shave soap properly. :) I do use and enjoy the Barbasol AS's Brisk(Skin Bracer) and Pacific Rush(AV Ice Blue).:)

I have a can in my drawer, hopefully I'll never have to use it:). I love the as though. The "Brisk" is actually one of my favorites of all of my aftershaves. Unbelievable menthol and scent for a mere $1.75.

I am into face lathering and Arko Shaving Sticks. I think I can do the Arko almost as fast, but I do keep Barbasol for when I am to lazy to face lather.

Maybe the best bet is to keep checking in on major chain drugstores, or even supermarkets. I saw the Arctic Chill in a supermarket, but so far not in any drugstores. No Mtn. Blasts anywhere though.

I don't know why it gets a bad rap, I always have a can on hand. Whenever that in law or unwanted guest is over it's hot coco time!

Hm. Seems like the artisan soaps are kickin' the big boys into motion. Like the artisan beers taking up shelf space that Bud used to have. That is a good thing. I noticed in Walmart that Old Spice markets about 2 dozen scents and takes up half the total display space.

Have only tried the Original but find the shave itself very good. My skin dries out from it, more than with a good soap. But like it anyways. It's a shame it's so darn expensive to get. Would be fun to try the other variants as well.

I used Barbasol until I discovered Edge Gel in college (mid-80's). Later I switched to Neutrogena, which I think is still the best canned shave gel out there. Now I'm curious about Barbasol.

I've used Barbasol for at least 10 years after u got sick of paying for Gillette Foamy. For me, Barbasol was just as good/mediocre as Foamy. Prior to that, I always used Noxema menthol. I can't remember why I switched from Noxema as I really liked it. I think it was hard to find in the stores in my area.

Shortly after picking up DE shaving, I moved over to the soaps and never went back to canned cream. I couldn't be happier.

I'm off on a business trip next week and I think I'll pack my old can of Barbasol with me. I've found that cans travel better than soaps, bowls and brushes.

Babe Ruth and Knute Rockne would agree with you...and I'd say those fellas were pretty manly.
