I’m in the midst of a BRAD (Bay Rum Acquisition Disorder) spree. I’ve kept some and am happy to share others with the community. There’s a bottle in the traveling box, and I’d like to offer this bottle to the general TSD community. First though, you should know why. I bought this bottle scent-unsmelled. As I was uncovering one, then another, bay rum aftershave splash, I found the barberry coast dot com website and was immediately drawn to their No. 28 splash. Click! You see, the number 28 is important in my life for a few very significant reasons. Well, two days after clicking, the package was at my door. I was excited to try this, but as it turns out, one of the components, vanilla, doesn’t agree with me. I was disappointed, but figured that’s what happens sometimes with blind buys. A couple of days later I got an email from the maker asking me to leave a review of the splash on his website. Being that I didn’t even actually use the splash I replied to the email and explained why I couldn’t leave a review. Now, the man could have ignored me completely (which has happened once with one particular artisan/vendor), or he could have told me I don’t care about what you think, or he could have politely told me to pound sand. But he did none of those things. Instead, he offered to take it back and pay for shipping, exchange at n/c or refund in full, or I could keep it and he’d still exchange or refund my money. Whatever I wanted. Well, I figured dang!, if he’s being so nice about it, I can do the same thing. So, this bottle is for you guys. If you please, ConUS only, as I’m covering shipping. Yes, thank you remembering correctly. I've sent with one of my closest friend 5 sets of copper shaving bowl, Arko stick and Turkish Shavette. Copper bowl was a traditional hand made but not from my hands. US postal cost was more than the goods either. If I had any chance to visit US, will bring such gifts with pleasure... Thank you Charlie! After a stormy week this is a bright ray of sunshine. My dad always had a bottle of bay rum on his dresser along with a few other classic aftershaves. I have only recently after all these years returned to the scent myself. I am very grateful for your generosity. Thank you!
