Hey, what blade do you think I should use for my beard growth problem. Dog is OK - his name is Jackson he belongs to a friend of mine in New York. They live on 98 acres with lots of wildlife - obviously. The Vet said she had never seen so many porcupine quills in a dog before. It took three Vets an hour to de-quill him and clean him up. Note to self - Do Not Chase Porcupines.
My guess is he grabbed the porcupine in his mouth and shook, thus spreading them around. My dog used to do that with her toys.
I don't believe this "dawg" will ever forget this. Looks like it hurt a mite though. Maybe some Dr Thayers Lavendar Witch Hazel would help... Or maybe a six pack of Becks Dark... ::
Seamus, are YOU actually friends with the owner or was that part just copy and pasted? I've seen/read about this incident quite a while ago. This was what, about 3 years ago now?
Actually very good friends. This occurred in Upstate NY. If it is the same incident that you are speaking of I would not know anything about what you are talking about, but the dogs name is Jackson and it happened in the last 12 months. I have been friends with this family for over 10 years. I can show you the photo on their myspace. Definitely not a cut and paste "Story". The real deal.
Oh I wasn't trying to doubt you, just wondering. I just remember reading a similar story and seeing a similar picture but this was at least 2-3 years ago now.
ive seen that one before as well. Actually.......I saw the before and after .....and after the surgery of the whole thing
Oh my gosh they are both aw:sad023ful. especially the second one Poor dogs, I thought that my dog getting a sticker stuck to her paw was bad!!!!!OUCH!!! if someone has the footage of the second dog going through the surgery to get them out, it would be appreciated, I really want to see how it was..
