This is basically where I am now, have the cheap brush from the local pharmacy (VDH, I think), and am now wondering about picking up something just a bit nicer, probably either the Tweezerman or cheap ebay silvertip. Just trying to figure out if it will really be worth it.
I was thinking of buying a small Muhle Pinsel silvertip, like this: https://www.muehle-shaving.com/shop//1/classic_style_silver_tip_shaving_brush/77/11/099_K_256 Looks nice, and not too expensive.
I would suggest a QED Pure (qedusa.com). Around $30 dollars or so and the best value brush I own. No, one of the best brushes I own, period.
