Palmolive was good, but I sold it for some dumb reason...
Erasmic was also quite good, but the scent didn't wow me
    I like Arko, a lot..

On scent alone, QED Sandalwood wins hands down...

On performance, I like the QED, but also like ARKO and Valobra, even though Valobra doesn't have much (if any) scent

I have three shave sticks in my rotation: Speick, Valobra and Arko. I think all three are excellent performers. Speick and Valobra have nice scents. Arko does not smell bad; it smells like soap to me.

I love the Arko stick's scent--as cheap as it is, the scent sooner or later grows on guys.

Hey Jeff, I see you are still a fan. ;)

Nothing wrong with that. At all.

Yes, for sure. I LOVE Arko soap to pieces. I get wonderful performance from it, as well as great skincare. True, true, it's cheap, but it beats so many expensive soaps.

The Tabac Original is very nice in stick form as well.

Why not bring a tube of Arko commando or citrus shave cream?
It's cheap, performs/smells great, easy to pack and it comes in a plastic tube... :D

I find that i compare every new cream i try, to the Arko. :D
The scents are a bit weak, but it works very well.

Anyway - it's cheap, easy to pack, comes in a durable tube and it's less messy that a stick. I would use it for travel.

Myself, I take for travel the Arko stick, or another stick. But: when I go south to the tropics, I do MENTHOL, my brother! :D ;)

I've only had one stick, an Erasmic shave stick. I milled it into a container.

However, once again, I tried it as a stick when I was still very green, so maybe trying another stick is in order....

    When will the spending end????

I have used Tabac, Palmolive and Speick sticks. Without a doubt, Tabac is the best (for me). I like the smell of Speick the best. I just can use the Palmolive stick. In fact I have a nearly full tube of cream I don't use either.

I just purchased (tonight) Irisch Moos and look forward to using it but I assume it will be the same as Tabac.

I don't use shave sticks or face lather myself, but I recently had the opportunity to get a German made tallow based Palmolive stick. Thanks Bong! I grated into a bowl and tried it today, WOW that is great stuff!! So creamy and what a scent and lather, awesome.

I am not personally a huge fan of sticks but see the benefits of them. I have used multiple glycerine sticks(QED, MB, TSD, SCS) with nice results. I have only tried the palmolive stick in the "hard tallow based" and it is phenomenal! I over did it the first time but it really does a great job. Very slick and moisturizing. I love the smell as well! I was about to grate down but might give it a few more tries in stick form.

Palmolive has been the best for me. Before Palmolive, I had tried some glycerin sticks and Speick. But they just didn't do it for me. Palmolive is great and I don't see me milling it anytime soon. I have now gone back to the Speick and am giving it another chance as well.

I think the Palmolive stick is dang good stuff! Not to mention cheap enough too.

I like using shave sticks when I am in a hurry. I like the "clear" ones that Mama Bear makes the most over the solid soapy ones. Although I use them a lot too.
