I buy enough shaving items from enough vendors that I get regular email advertisements and today was no exception. I received a special "Today Only" advertisement from a particular vendor that twice referred to their Halloween sale as "Buy One, Get One Half" on select items. Imagine my surprise when my discount didn't add up and I eventually noted on their webpage that the sale was "Buy One, Get Lesser Value Items...". Funny thing, the details were omitted from the advertisement and were only noted on the webpage. I understand caveat emptor but it still seemed like more of a trick than a treat. Happy Halloween. Oh, and yes, I cancelled my order.
BOGO is always that way. Not sure where the trick is. The wording is usually "Buy one, get another of equal or lesser value, half off. "
