I found my birth year, a 1941 ranger Tech. I don't use it very often because it's waayy too mild, but I'll keep it just the same.

Let the searching begin. Found a couple 1979 on ebay at a reasonable price I might purchase. Big range in price for my fathers birth year (1956). Going to have to do a little more research so I dont waste some money.

I've been on the hunt for a 1972 Gillette Super Adjustable aka Black Beauty. Certainly been a pricey one so far. I just happened to win an eBay 3 razor lot that had lousy pictures that just by chance had a 1972 Super Speed. Have yet to try it yet. Kind of wondering how it compares to my Fat Boy and EJ 89L.

So what razor(s) should I be looking for?

So would a Fatboy make a good second razor?

    Yes, regardless of the year.
