I would need a Y1.
Don't think I've seen too many of those around the forum.
youd be suprised what you can find when you post for it.
i needed a Z2 and found one pretty quickly.
I'm sure. Guido probably has one, or can get one.
I'm good though.
I know. Those dang years just don't wanna pass... :ashamed001
thanks, but...errr... I think I'll pass on that one
You do mean 1978, right? If you want to pretend, it is pretty easy to find the other Y1 from 1953.
WTD = wanted
Pass me those gillette disposables!
breaken heads since 87'
Well that there explains why; I may be 30, but I feel like I'm 55.
I was thinking about it, too. I need one for B-2 if anyone has a good one for sale! :sick007
Yeah.. I was born under the "Slim" era too I even have the correct quarter
I just sold my B2 SS in NM condition no more than two weeks ago.
And I'd need an X3, provided that Gillette even made DE razors in '77.
I had a '68 slim...used it once and sold it. It may have been just beginning the whole DE shave thing but have since found the Merkur HD does the trick for me. I do have 3 pristine razors on display in my shave den and one of them would be a TTO Gillette from '68 which will also go unused at least for now. I am temped to give it a whirl in January of '09.
E4, Baby. It was the first DE I bought since re-discovering DE shaving. In fact, I am going to try to find BYRs for my Dad and brothers and package them up with starter kit materials as a nice Holiday gifts.
What years would those be? I can check my stash and see if have one and hook you up.
Wow! I have two sons I would like to hook up.
First one born in August 1980.
Second born in September 1986.
Please, no disposable bics!
A beautiful summation of my life... Day late, Dollar short.
+1 Gotta have the right quarter!
Anyone got a razor from 1980?
I think they stopped making or dating them.
This thread rebounded nicely after Michael's initial response
