So I just ordered a bunch of blades from tryablade:

ASTRA - Superior Platinum - my "go to " blade

ASTRA - Superior Stainless - never used

Blue Bird - Chromium-Ceramic-Platinum-Tungsten and Polymer - never heard of

Croma - Diamant - never heard of

Gillette - Super Blue - love these!

Personna - Lab Blue - wanted to see if they live up to the hype

Personna - Platinum (Israeli Reds) - Love these!

Flying Eagle - 74-C - no idea. liked the packaging LOL

Any thoughts on my choices? Mainly the ones I've never heard of or used...

Personnas have my vote. Love the GSBs myself. The cromas and bluebirds were just ok.

ASTRA - Superior Stainless - OK

Blue Bird - Chromium-Ceramic-Platinum-Tungsten and Polymer - OK

Croma - Diamant - never tried

Gillette - Super Blue - OK. I don't love them as much as most

    Personna - Lab Blue - I don't really like

Personna - Platinum (Israeli Reds) - Love these! Top 3

    Flying Eagle - 74-C - no idea

Others I tried from Jason and liked were Perms Sharp, Polisilver, Voskhod, Street Platinums.

I like the Pols, love the Voskhods, and if you meant the TREET Platinum those are pretty smooth too.

Both the Personna and Astra brands work well for me. I've used the blue bird and was nonplussed. Love me some Silver Blues.

I'm doing my 30 day rule right now with Crystal's (Israeli Personna's I think). I've liked the Astra SP, Personna Lab Blue and Derby. Will have try the Red Personna's again it was the first blade of my sampler did not like it. I'm much more consistent now since I went through my samples.

Not a fan of the Blue Bird either. it lasted two stokes and went into the blade bank. Right now Voshkod is my daily but I rotate Astra's and Feathers in the mix as well.

    Astra SP- really good blade
Astra SS- not as good as the SP's but not bad either
Blue Bird- my first bulk buy, it's a good blade until you try Astra SP, Super Iridiums, Vikings Sword
Personna Red and Blue I like both
    GSB-I've never tried
Croma, and Flying Eagle-74-C I've never heard of

My favorite blade as of now especially when comparing performance to price is another Israeli Personna blade The Vikings Sword..:)
