Blade question

    Inspired by this thread, this morning I pulled out my "dull" Blue Tip and fitted a nice new GSB to it.

    Much to my surprise (not!) it gave me a nice, smooth and efficient shave. Of course there is not the same blade feel as my Fat Boy on 9 but my face feels just as smooth afterwards.

    I guess I must have a defective Blue Tip. ;)

    Gillette Silver Blue's are very sharp but very smooth. Might be worth trying them out. Polsilver SI is another great option.

    Yep. I found the same thing with my Gillette Tech and Old Type. Very different feel but ended up just as smooth with each.

    They shouldn't be able to do that because one's mild and one's aggressive...

    And don't even get me started on the Fatboy! That shave from that left my face totally... the same.
