And here I clicked on this thread thinking it would be about scanty underwear. Bit of a letdown I must say.

 

I don't know if Amelia Bloomer would approve of our adoption of the term. She was quite the Feminist during her active years and is credited with helping end Victorian style use of multiple petticoats, floor dragging skirts, and whale bone corsets. If you can find tasteful family friendly depictions of bloomers feel free to post them!
