And here I clicked on this thread thinking it would be about scanty underwear. Bit of a letdown I must say.
I don't know if Amelia Bloomer would approve of our adoption of the term. She was quite the Feminist during her active years and is credited with helping end Victorian style use of multiple petticoats, floor dragging skirts, and whale bone corsets. If you can find tasteful family friendly depictions of bloomers feel free to post them!
Hazard of communicating in text - no tone of voice. Also no harm done. This whole discussion is somewhat tongue in cheek. Since we are on a Wet Shaving forum to talk about adding water to soap it's hard to imagine how we've generated over 680 post. If we were discussing wet bloomers, a click to a NatGeo page might be in order. Go ahead, I dare ya! If you don't trust links to off site web pages, here's a vintage photo of ladies in wet bloomers. If you are really into the Wet Bloomers Look, try these on in the privacy of your own boudoir.
my dad and his friends post war pranks included filling the next door neighbours bloomers with rocks while wet on the clothesline..
I came to listen to the crickets chirp... but since the last post was over two months ago I think they all diededed...po' blooming crickets... *Fuzzy runs naked through the room* no bloomersssssssssss.
I didn't make that up. If you have Animal Planet on your cable channel list, tune in tonight for the two programs from 8-10 PM(EST)...listen closely for the ad about the program Aquarium.....you'll see what I'm talkinabout.
@wchnu, I hope you caught on to what I meant by asking you if you "got the job done...in Tucson"..the classic Mel Tillis song.
