Reading "Faith of the Fallen" by Terry Goodkind.

Movies recently included, Stardust and Underdog. Thumbs up on both of them. Stardust was a great adult fairy tale and Underdog was a good clean funny kids movie.

I just came back from seeing Superbad.

It was a good movie, crude though. I wouldnt rush out to see it in the theaters....would be a good rental though. I dont think it ranks up there with the other Aptow movies

It cost a lot of cash to go to a movie these days (money I don't have). So I don't go that much but I really want to see the new Rob Zombie Halloween flick.

Currently reading Papillon by Henri Charriere at night and After the Plague, short stories by TC Boyle on my lunch break. I've seen bits and pieces of the Papillon movie but never read the book, but always been intrigued by the story. Figure I'll read the book and then rent the movie to compare soon. I'm really enjoying the TC Boyle short stories. I've never read anything by him before but this won't be my last. He has quite the imagination and keeps his stories always fresh with new ideas. Highly recommended.

Welcome! Love the Avatar. I have seen that short film, supposed to be a metaphor for the Vietnam war.

Whats up with your avatar.....getting in the Halloween mood?

BTW....is the new Halloween a Prequel to the old one....or a remake
