Yes, I think they are great and worth the money. I have a lot of brushes from Yaqi now, when they are on sale it is a no brainer (free shipping). Even their defective handle brushes are still a good deal. I was looking for a tuxedo knot from Razorock 2 + years ago but it was not on sale and was looking for a alternative supplier possibly and found Yaqi had a few defective handled ones and bought them to try and still use those 2 brushes. I use the Yaqi 24mm cashmere knot with the defective handle daily for my pre-shave routine with over 800 uses already and the Yaqi Tuxedo knot 24mm it still one of my favorite brushes for face feel.
i have a 24mm ds cosmetics and 24 mm ap shave co brushes.both are near identical and have tuxedo knots.i believe them to be made at the same place the yaqi ones are.awesome synthetics for backbone and scrub.
The online retailers for shaving supplies that have their brand printed on the brush have those brushes Taylor made for them from all over the world. Badger and synthetic brushes + knots it is fair to say they are sourced mainly from China, 95% of Badger hair mainly comes from China IMO. Boar brushes + knots are mainly from Europe is my conclusion of the different brush types.
