DE SOTD, Thursday, January 23rd 2025 Razor : Yaqi Flipside with a hexahedral handle(aluminum variant). Mfg 2019> tame mid to mid range. Made very well, scallop side + open comb side is milder than the scalloped side. Very affordable just for the head. Great razor to work the beard area + no blade tab over hang. Blade : Polsilver (5) sharp and smooth with great longevity. Soap : Razorock MF, nice cologne scented soap with excellent lather qualities. Brush : Yaqi "orbital ring" 24mm boar bristle brush, I like my Yaqi boar bristle brushes. Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of cleear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area. Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups. Post shave : Razorock MF with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless). Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my Yaqi flipside dual OB & SB bar with a Polsilver SI blade. Have some great shaves!
