My grand dad was a Brut man. I love the scent and the memories it invokes..

You can't please everyone, so you've got to please yourself.

Haha- went shopping with the wife and had her sniff a bottle of Aqua Velva Blue- she liked it! Looks like I found my weekend scent...

I'm a fan of all of the stereotypical old man scents. Clubman, Old Spice, Brut, like them all.

I'm not that old yet...IMO. The wife says otherwise.

You can get the 25.6 oz. size only at Christmas. I'm guessing they're an heirloom cologne, since this size provides enough for several generations.

Tried to sneak in a mid day splash of Brut- wife covered her face, lol. Guess I have to stick to the Aqu Velva on weekends...

Sometimes I sprinkle a little Brut around to get rid of the cockroaches. They run like little six-legged rockets to get away from the stuff!

Seriously, I am not a fan of Brut, although I don't hate the scent. Speick, Musgo Real and Krampert's Finest Acadian Spice smell better and are reasonably priced for what you get.

And if you want to kill cockroaches, use something loud and stinky, like Axe.

Old man here....but never dug Brut...I'm a dyed in the wool Old Spice fan like my Pop...;) but I can see the attraction...

I also remember Brut from my misspent youth. I like the smell and use it regularly along with the cologne.

I remember seeing that in my dad's medicine cabinet.

I can't stand the smell of it, but I would rather someone wear that instead of Axe.

There were two scents I wore a lot in my younger (way before the internet and heavy personal computer ownership) days.
So long ago that this song was new.

One fragrance was Wild Country and the other was Brut. I wore them so much I don't want to smell them any more.

Get a big pot of boiling water, and in that water put: Old men's sweaty argyle socks, hot dogs, grass clippings, dandelions, and your hopes and dreams. Boil that down to a syrupy mixture. Add equal parts red wine vinegar and rubbing alcohol. Shake, and you have Brut by Faberge.

    Big fan then?

I don't even really remember what it smells like. I remember it being considered a "cheap" scent back when I was a teenager (80's) so I never used it.
