When I mix a glycerin soap and a cream together, I usually melt the soap in the microwave first, then stir in the cream.

Great thread and idea for sharing. Here's my contribution:

Load up brush with C&E Sienna, blend in bowl with C&F Limes (other limes may work, don't know). Maybe 1/2 knurdle - 1 knurdle. Depending on how much soap on the brush.

Tones down the limes without making them sweet, and brings out some notes in the Sienna. Terrific dense lather and it gives a great shave. All in all, a very pleasant shave.

    Well....

I couldnt sleep last nite....So I stepped into the R/D area of my house.

Heres what I came up with.

MB Rosemary Mint Soap/ Proraso Shave Cream (Name: Icy per Rick)

MB Eucalyptus Oil Soap/ Ingrams Shave Cream (Name: Menthol Mania)

MB Celestial Waters Soap/ Trumpers Lime Shave Cream (Name: Fruit Basket)

Gonna let them all cure. Hopefully if i can get some containers and anyone is interested ill send you some samples.

    Crabtree & Evelyn Suggestions

OK, I have all of the C & E soaps and creams. If I was to make one of Rick's Screams, what would someone suggest I might mix them with?

    C&E Scents:
    Sweet Almond
    Nomad
    Sienna
    Sandalwood

    Rich:
First of all, the SCream recipe works with glycerine soaps and creams.....
So, with that said, try these:

C&E Sweet Almond oil cream and the HoneyBee Spa Almond soap
C&E Sandalwood cream and MamaBears Mysore Sandalwood soap :drool

Mill the soaps down and the stir them into the creams.
I dont heat the soaps cause they lose scent, and thats what I like most about the glycerine soaps.
Every day or 2 stir up the SCream and within a cuppa weeks they are married together and ready to go.
    Keep us Posted.
