Thank you guys. I appreciate your appreciating my photographs, but I think a calendar should be a collective effort and a reminder of the camaraderie that makes us go read this board everyday.
Exactly! Besides I believe it was mentioned about narrowing down the submissions once we have a bunch.
JoAnna, Are you going to have the calander produced and sell it in the TSD store? It would be a convient method of distribution and I would think it would be good for business. Who could make a TSD order without adding a calandar? Who could order a calandar with picking up a TSD item or two?
Your humility is very refreshing, but your photographs are of the professional quality that a calendar should consist of (read: they kick ass). I, for one, vote Yukio as the official calendar photographer. Seriously, his photos are so incredible, you could sell this calendar outside of the Den.
While I agree with you wholeheartedly about Yukio's abilities, I've "known" him for about 3 years now. Your suggestion is something he'll dismiss. We've been trying to get him to do a coffee table book, or something. He doesn't like us that much. But he says we can use his photos all the time, and that they are trademarked by, .....what was that word again?........hmmm.......my memory is just absolute mush..... Yukio? What word am I looking for?
Seriously though, I would buy a book of Yukio's photos. Shaving, landscapes, kitties, oh the kitties :love029, I have never seen a bad photo from Yukio. And I have never had a photo warm my heart as much as Yukio's photos do.
