In this awesome thread in the first post it shows a bucket full of safety razors.
I store alot of my razors in a similar way (a small lunchbox about half the size of the forementioned bucket) unless they are in particularly good condition &/or have their box.

My question is can the weight of the razors deform the ones on the bottom?

I guess I am just a little paranoid.

    Thanks in advance.

Just sitting there, I highly doubt it.
If the bucket is being thrown around, bouncing about in the back of a pick-up truck heading down a bumpy dirt road, yes.
Yes, you're a little paranoid. But we're here for ya!

I recently returned an ebay purchase of 3 razors as the seller packed them loose in a padded envelope and shipped across the country.
They were dented and chipped, I promptly filed the return.
It's a real shame...they were nice, the silo doors on one of them were completely shot :(

They shouldn't unless they weigh as much as a brick. What I would suggest is putting some desiccant in the box to keep excess moisture from building up.

Build or buy some racks, brass is heavy and soft and the bottom ones in the bucket would have some nicks & scratches no doubt. I hope the razor he wants to use is not at the bottom of the bucket:happy102:.

    Scuff and scratch? Probably.

    Damage? Probably not.

I wouldn't recommend storing that many in a bucket. Brass is soft, and there is a good chance the ones on the bottom can get bent, due to all the others weight.
