The country boy in me is proud someone may of had willpower enough to get every ounce of use out of that. But the realist tells me someone tried to sharpen their razor with an angle grinder. Lol
It might spread butter or open letters. Are the scales worth saving? I've seen the same with shaving brushes .... barely enough left to recognize what it is.
You know, I see so many of these narrow razors with huge heel hooks, I’ve begun to believ that they were made intentionally to be hair ‘sculptors’ or edge trimmers, chips and cracks notwithstanding. There are just too many of them to be worn random razors. But hey, I’ve been wrong before.
My thoughts are similar but different I have always thought they left the life of cutting hair and were used for another purpose Two that I know of that SR's were sought out for Patch Knife but usually the Older Heavy bladed Sheffield types Many were used in Baker's hands as a Scoring Knife I would imagine that other crafters have put the SR to good use perhaps for Leather Work ??? anyway I spent my 2 pennies
