I enjoyed a Perla Del Mar maduro on the way to work today. I have also been smoking my way through a Thompson's 50 toro sampler.
I tend to stick with something once I find something I like. I was stuck on Leaf by Oscar, but it's been out of stock lately. In its absence it was suggested I try Esteban Carreras Chupacabra Maduro, and I've found my happy place with it. It is fairly priced and a very, very nice smoke. Paired with Henry McKenna 10 Year Single Barrell Bottled In Bond Bourbon, I have found my perfect nightcap, and I am enjoying the pair as I type this. Higly recommended by yours truly. That was my first Camacho in years. Spicy, a little leather/graphite and sweet wrapper, also surprisingly smooth.
You think the "peppery" was wrapper? (I am primarily a smoker of straight Virginia and Navy tobaccos from a pipe)
No pic, but Sunday I had an Avo Uvezian Robusto in natural. Very smooth snd rich, almost creamy smoke.
Avo’s are known for being mild and creamy. A very good breakfast cigar. Edit: Cuesta Rey 1884 is another creamy cigar
