Saint Luis Rey Reserva Especial This has been aging in my Humidor chest, at proper humidity, for 14+ years. It should be very nice with a beverage.
stopped by the cigar lounge today and enjoyed an H Upmann Magnum 46. I was never a big fan if this cigar. Haven't smoked one in a few years until today. But I must say that I did really like this one. Probably the most enjoyable Mag 46 I've ever smoked.
Enjoying an after dinner Villazon cigar, a little Ouzo and watching "Ghostbusters" for the umpteenth time............
Looks good! I’m more of a pipe guy, but sometimes enjoy a good cigar. I’m not family with Villazon, how was it? Generally I prefer a lighter cigar than the really strong ones. Currently my favorite is an Oliva Serie V Melanio. And I love Ghostbusters!
Villazon are the makers of Hoyo De Monterrey, Excaliber, Punch and a few others. They came out with ones in their name, Ecuador Sumatra (light-medium) and Maduro (medium-full), I have both. Haven't heard of Ghostbuster. Been a while since I've used any of my pipes, but the tobaccos have been aging for a long time.
If those pipe tobaccos have much Virginia in them, aging will really benefit them. You mentioned watching Ghostbusters, so that was what I was referring to. May have to look into the Villazon line, sounds interesting.
LaFlor Dominica Double Ligero Wedge(Chisel) This one has been aging in my humidor for about 15 yrs. Perfect draw, through the punched hole, with a very strong and smooth flavor. It was a great cigar back then, and even better now. Too bad it was my last one. It paired nicely with a Yuengling Black and Tan.
Well now I know what I'm having with my morning coffee. I believe what I have left have been in the humidor since the late 90's. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
Cigar- Sancho Panza. Honduras Beer- Yuenbling. America. A great tasting cigar. It has been in my cigar chest, aging, for approx 12 or more years. Fantastically smooth, strong, with an easy draw. The beer is a favorite of mine, that is seasonal. Yuengling just started selling in Texas, a month or so ago, and this one isn't offered here yet. A neighbor brought down a 12 pack of this beer for me today, from Kentucky. I have good neighbors. I didn't even ask.
Funny that... I had never even heard of Yuengling until about 2 years ago when it just popped up out of nowhere and flooded every gas station, grocery store, drugstore, etc. around here in Mississippi. And their advertising saying they are the oldest brewery in America. Oh yeah? Why have I never heard of you? Now I can't get away from them. Ha!
They make some good beer. I'm not too crazy for their caned beer, but the same ones in the bottles are better. Pretty much with all beers, canned suck.
