The last time I smoked a Cigar was back in the 80's. I really enjoyed it. What would be a nice Cigar to start out with?

Arturo Fuente Hemingway. Mild, delicious. If you can find those, a Perdomo Lot 23. Also mild.

Having an Asylum Schizo 6x60. I guess you can tell i enjoy that size. Back to the Schizo, it is a sandwich cigar, all premium tobacco, made from the left over leaf of the Asylum 13. Ppremium taste and easy on the wallet.

Woke up this morning in the mid 60's, nice. Mom is at the hospital with our daughter recovering from thyroid surgery yesterday. Should be back today. All went well. I stayed home from work today to get the other kids to school. With all that done it is time to hve a cup of coffee and a Brickhouse maduro, tough being "mom". CAM00214.jpg

Fuente Cuban Corona - Maduro. My first Maduro cigar. So far, I'm liking this little number.

A buddy and I went up to Hamburg, PA to check out Cabella's. Right next door is Cigars International. I picked up a Nicaraguan Sampler of 10 cigars to bring home and enjoyed a 5 Vegas Classic 55 while I was there.

Not a today cigar, but while on vacation last week in Las Vegas, I stopped by Casa Funtes (at Caesar's Forum) a couple times and enjoyed their house brand (only available at that location).

So aside from coffee, what other non-alcoholic drinks pair up well with a good ciger?
    Haven't had a drink since Jan. '94.

Ginger beer (the non-alcoholic kind), if the cigar is on the robust side.

Sitting on the balcony in Belize overlooking the ocean - firing up an Opus X.....not a bad place to have one!

Saturday afternoons in the back yard with a cigar have become the norm.
Today I took @richgem 's suggestion and picked up some ginger beer to go with a Joya De Nicaragua Fuerta Serie B.
You may be on to something, Rich! A very enjoyable, relaxing afternoon reading the latest issue of YANKEE MAGAZINE.
