One day I'll post one of these in the "The Haul"-thread: Morris Minor 1000 traveller ('woodie'). But first there's the studies of the children, so I guess I'd better not hold my breath...

If it were me, I would find out which one my grandfather had and take that route. The issue is that they don't make them anymore, and those are highly sought after cars, so the supply will be low and the price high! I purchased my basket case 19 years ago, and it took me 8 years to complete. It's fun to have and I put my own personal touches on it. I did most of the work myself, and it still cost me more than I'll admit, but it has been my dream car since I was a kid.

They are fun, but they do need a little extra care and are much different animals than any modern vehicle. Good luck in your journey and search for the T-bird. It will be as much fun as the ownership.

Forget the garage. You could live in the car.

I would like to own an old Chevrolet Bel Air and an old Chevrolet 3100 Pick Up.

Maybe an old Cadillac too...love old American cars. They were so beautiful. And they had big machines (5.7 l V8 Hemi)...thats what Dreams are made of.
