I made him mad? I'm not the one who made soap out of his uncle! Or milked his wife. ('cause that's in there too)

Good point. I just spotted the "Friend of Water Buffalo" bumper sticker on your car. ;)

That buffalo looks like it needs to finish lathering. Do you think it would prefer a boar, badger, horse or synthetic brush?

I'm in the same boat as you. I amassed enough soap to shave, I am now discovering, for YEARS and enough razors that I could rotate well over a month and not repeat.

I've just completed year one of my no-buy/den reduction. I'm focusing on enjoying what I have instead of the thrill of the hunt. Honestly, I could be happy with my Lisa's Natural Soap, a black handle flare tip, and my QShave Futur clone. Everything else is gravy. All I need now is a lifetime supply of Feather blades.

    Absolutely!

    I wanted this:

Art of Shaving Lexington Collection 5 Blade Power Razor
    Luxe and totally cool looking
    $175

    Then I saw:

    Gillette Fusion 5-blade cartridges
    8 pack
    $38 ($4.75 each)

Good farkin' grief, those carts are way overpriced! Red alert! Sticker shock off the port bow! That razor ain't cheap, either.

    Compare with:

    Edwin Jagger DE89L
    Luxe and totally cool looking
    $27.16 on Amazon

    Gillette Rubie double edge blades
    Premium blades
    £19.99 / $25.19 per 100 ($0.25 each)

Now that's more like it! In fact, that is excellent!

Then tell him his brother looks good as a shaving brush.

    And his mama, too! :p
