That's pretty much what I did.

Gee I even wore it to work yesterday, but that's not saying much, cuz I work at a chemical plant

 

Where is the Veg now? Any updates?

 

It should be at my house. I've been out of town since Wednesday. I'll plan to use it tomorrow. I get in early Sunday morning.

 

The Veg has arrived!



I have used it with this morning's shave! Verdict is still out. I'll report later on my wife's reaction. I'm letting it dry down to see what the smell is after a few hours.

 

Well, I'm happy to report that I'm one of the chosen! My wife did not object to the scent. In fact she said that I smelled good! I put on a liberal splash of the Veg after a cold rinse and witch hazel splash. I topped it off with Nivea sensitive balm. The Veg burned a good bit but cooled off quickly. I guess my body chemistry agrees with it.

I like it! I went in thinking I would hate it. There is so much division amongst folks concerning the Veg. I guess you just need to try it to see!

I'm going to use it another time as per regulations of this pass-around. I'm going to split that next application into two parts. One part I'll use tomorrow and the second part will be used on April 30 as most of the members of the 30-day Focus Thread are going to all use Arko and the Veg on the same day.

I plan to try the vintage Wilkinson blade tomorrow and use it for three days or so. Looking forward to it!

Hello DaltonGang, and everyone, I'm around 4 years in to this traditional shaving thing, and I have yet to try the Veg. So after careful consideration I have decided to request you add me to the pass around. I am in! I will await your response.

 

I just bought a bottle on Amazon for 9 bucks. If it doesn't work no big deal. Better than paying 5 bucks shipping for a sniff IMHO.

 

Hello Redfisher, I thought of that, but I wish to join in the spirit of the pass around, plus I have some things to add as well.

No disrespect taken, I'm sure. It's just a fun thing to do. You can also try out an Iconic Vintage blade, in this pass around, along with whatever else is tossed in.
I like to do PIF's and pass arounds, just to give back to the shaving community, and to let people experience New things.
Some are a hit, some flop.

The list has been updated.

 

My plan is to get the box moving to Morman Bridge on Tuesday or Wednesday at the latest. Now I just need to figure out something to throw in.

@Morman Bridge, would you be interested in trying a blade or an after shave? I'll contribute to the box but let me know your preference between those two categories.

 

Either or, your choice. I guess though, a blade or two would be best, since I'll be trying the Veg for a couple of days. Thanks for the kind gesture sir! Blades it is!
