Clubman smells like a barbershop.

 

Old and musty?

 

Fresh and powdery...pure goodness

 

Um no.

 

Similar to Skin Bracer but a bit more potent and minus the menthol

 

My wife vetoed Clubman last winter. I now have a bottle of Classic Vanilla and we both like it, so I use it occasionally, primarily after a head shave.

 

Very cool, unfortunately I'm going to have to wait on hitting Sally's or any shave items for awhile. I awoke this morning to a compressor on my AC that had frozen over. Gotta love central air when it goes on the fritz. So now I have to take care of that. Doesn't it figure today it was 86 out and we are all dripping sweat here. Thank God the basement is cooler. I think I need bathe in Menthol just to cool down, hahaha

 

Never tried Vanilla, does it make you smell like a cookie?

 

I don't think so. To me, the vanilla is just a clean barbershop scent that isn't quite as strong as the original.

 

Interesting. I'll have to see if they have a sample somewhere or a try me bottle.

 

My 2 favorite Aftershaves....Clubman and Lilac Vegetal. And a close 3rd goes to Osage Rub.

 

I wanted to try Clubman but chickened out and went for Citrus Musk. After smelling it now I regret not buying Clubman cause it probably smells even better. Someday tho...

 

Clubman is great and especially like Bay Rum.

 

I like Lime, Musk, and Osage Rub. Haven't tried any others.

 

Got me a sample of Clubman finally, and it definitely has a "takes you back" kind of smell. The good news is my fiancee approved. She wants me to get 4-5 different smells so I can rotate and this has definitely been included in the rotation. Really want to try the Bay Rum next, but have a few TSD samples to go through first.

 

The gym I go to his practically next door to me, so I've never showered there. Walking through the locker room yesterday I realized that whatever soap they put in the showers smells exactly like Clubman.
