Duck Fart 1/2 oz Kahlua 1/2 oz Bailey's 1/2 oz Crown Royal Layer ingredients You can do a full oz too. Great drink but for some reason only the bars in Alaska do it best.
its summertime.......well, almost Cuba Libre: 2 parts Coke 1 part Rum Squeeze of lime Simplicity and perfection all in one
I LIVE for a good Manhattan! There are several variations on the theme but I tend to like roughly the classic 2:1 ratio of bourbon to vermouth: 3 oz Old Granddad Bottled In Bond 1 1/4 oz Sweet Vermouth 2-3 dashes Angostura Bitters 1 Marachino Cherry Shake vigorously, strain, serve with cherry. Serve & Enjoy!
Been experimenting with these, meself................. My latest recipe: 2 shots old Overholt Rye 1/2 shot Noilly Prat ("Nwah-yee Prah"........right Yukio ??) Sweet vermouth 10 dashes Peychauds Bitters STIRRED in a shaker full of ice and drained into a chilly Martini glass.
I am known as a bit of a foody and booze snob among my friends here at school, the give me $#it for it, but they never mind when i cook or make them a drink. The House ladies drink for the summer has been a lemon martini: 1oz Grey Goose .5oz lemonchello (or to your taste) A good squeeze of a lemon Chilled and served 5 do Mojitos by the pitcher when I make them. A good helping of mint leaves in a food processor with powdered sugar and tow to three limes squeezes to death and then the pulp from at least one. Chop up nicely, scrape in to a pitcher, add white rum (again preferance). When mixing drink pour some in to a glass then top with club soda. (I really dont measure anything as you will see, I just go with my gut) Moscow Mule (great refresher) 1 part vodka 1 part lime juice 3 parts ginger beer or ale if you like it sweeter and a dash of bitters if you want. One of my favorites is: Awamori (a kind of japanese alcohol) and coke, mix as you would rum and coke. Umeshu (Japanese plum wine) and soda Sangria: 1 bottle Rosa 1 bottle rojita 2 shots conac 2 peaches 2 necterines strawberries rasberries and basically any other fruit you can stuff in it before over flowing let sit for at least 24 hours and then enjoy cold. If you want something tasty for your icecream try this In a pan melt some sugar with a little water as you would to make a simple sugar. add rum and then butterscotch snapps, turn down heat to a simmer till thickens. If you have trouble with it thickening add a little bit of rice flour to thicken. turn of heat add a little more rum and then cool in teh fridge or serve hot on the icecream. Sorry to all for my lack of measuring but well the only thing i have the measures are some mason jars.

Autumn morning in the Old Dominion It is a lovely morning here in Virginia with a cool breeze, low humidity, a rising sun and a bloody mary in my hand !!!
So I am sick. As I drink gallons and gallons of orange juice I keep wishing it was a Dreamsicle. 8oz Orange Juice 1oz Spiced Rum.
The laziest cocktail -- Tommy Bahama rum mixed with tropical blend fruit juice. You decide the ratios. :eatdrink047
Painkiller - A Soggy Dollar Bar original (debatable) 2oz dark rum 4oz pineapple juice 1oz OJ 1oz cream of coconut fresh ground nutmeg Fill shaker with cup of crushed ice, and liquids. Shake, pour into cup and grind nutmeg on top. Soggy Dollar is a great place to hang out and chill.
yayrum: VERY NICE !! Now........ Ive got a work related event tomorrow at Doheny State Beach ( any Beach Boys fans out there?????) and I need a new beverage to take SO HELP ME OUT. Time is of the essence Heres one of my faves from the past: Hop, Skip and Go Naked...............altho, when Googled, there are MANY variations Pink Lemonade Vodka Beer Mix to taste I know it sounds disgusting but it is very refreshing and you can drink it ALL DAY LONG.
Two fingers of Balvenie Single Cask Scotch, neat. I agree with W. C. Fields on the use of ice with Scotch: "Good Scotch doesn't need it, bad Scotch doesn't deserve it."
Sooo tasty The Apple pie shot 1 gallon apple juice 1/2 gallon fresh apple cider 3 - 4 cinnamon sticks 1 liter Everclear® alcohol Put the juice, cider, and cinnamon sticks into a pan and let simmer on the stove for about 2 hours (not boil). Turn off heat, pour in 1 liter or 2/3 liter Everclear (no taste of alcohol) to the batch and pour into punch cups. Very potent, tastes exactly like apple pie.
Man, I love Dogfish Head Festina Peche. Unfortunatly, it is only around during the warm months. When it's cold I just drink beer (Yeungling now that it's available in Georgia) and apple cider Sailor Jerry's Spiced Rum a pad of butter and some spices
