Today I used Palmolive Lathering. It came from the 50's, I posted a review in the shave cream section if you guys would like to check it out.
Monday - Palmolive Menthol Tuesday - Proraso Red (Wheat) Wednesday - Arko Cool Thursday - ??? Friday - ??? Saturday - ??? Sunday - ???
Thursday - AoS Lemon Creame Friday - B.C. Bigelow Saturday- Old Spice Lime Now if I can only find Proraso around town!
Thursday - TSD Wheat Cedarwood Friday - KMF Cool Mint + 3 drops M Bomb If you really like your scents (and menthol) subtle, KMF Cool Mint is it. Too subtle in both cases for me, thus the need for a boost from the M Bomb. There is just enough scent there to make you think it has a scent, but then you stop and wonder if it really does, or are you just imagining it because you want it to have a scent. And the TSD Wheat Cedarwood? In a word - fantastic.
Had a go with my old lover, Proraso. And with that I'm done with the Cream Week shaves. I need more creams.
Swarden, you got to remember I settled on Proraso 6 years ago and just recently got bit with the exploration bug again earlier this month. I've not done too bad with the AD. So far this month I've purchased a new brush, two new razors, two creams, two AS, and a new soap..
Oh yeah.. This is all Fun to me.. If I ever come off otherwise just mark it up as my poor ability to communicate effectively.
All but missed out on this week's theme. Had a cream shave on wendesday: De Vergulde Hand cream. Great, quick lather. And then there's always tomorrow!
Saturday - C&E Sandalwood Usually I don't use this cream alone; I add a small dollop to my lather bowl and create a super lather with the matching shave soap. Not a bad stand-alone cream. Pretty strong in the scent department. For me, that's a plus.
Sunday Shulton Old Spice(India),I'm really enjoying this cream, lathers pretty easy, great Old Spice scent,I may have to try the other scents, especially the Lime.
KMF Unscented + 2 drops Em's Woodstock EO. This shave cream is fantastic. I always keep a tube of the unscented around for soaps smell nice but just don't lather too well. Woods of Windsor is one of those soaps. A little dollop of the unscented KMF helps boost the lather without killing the scent of the soap. Plus, as you can see above, it takes EO and even a few drops or spritzes of cologne very nicely, as well. Now you can have your lather match any cologne you have!
For me it was Aspis Ice Rain cream from Bulgaria which not only smells awesome, it cools good although it's not a freeze-your-face-to-death cream like another guy had told me. The lather is a pleasure to work with, and there's also allantoin in it to give soothing and comfort to the skin along with the menthol. Great stuff!
