I have not tried tub, but my understanding is they are marginally different. The stick is what Arko is best-known for producing.
I believe the tub version is slightly less dense and more moist. But a caveat, I have not tried the tub.
I've used Arko in both stick, mashed into a Ziploc bowl to form a puck and from the factory in puck form. In fact Arko is my daily use shave soap. I found both types performed well, with no noticeable difference IMO. I think the stick form of Arko is the better deal.
Yeah that was the impression I got. I ordered the tub(it hasn't come in yet) mostly because I didn't want to get 4 sticks from amazon if I hated it. I had read about people slicing it down to use as a puck. Thanks!
I have an Arko tub on the way. My thought is if I like it then I will buy sticks next time and mash them into the same tub.
Basically what I did, mine actually came in yesterday so I'll try it out this morning. It certainly smells exactly like ivory soap, and like everyone said it lathers super fast.
I'm totally an arko convert, it's an amazing soap for the money. I'm interested now in the area stick and the Arctic ice shaving cream.
