Cremo or not to Cremo?

I've tried it. Good slickness but no cushion. When I tried to whip up a lather with a brush it dissipated very quickly. Seems like it would work great for cart shaving but I didn't like it much for DE shaves.

That's a great idea. I may try that some day with my VDH Luxury soap. I'm having a hard time find VDH Deluxe now, as it seems the Luxury soap is their new line.

I used Cremo when cartridge shaving. It was good stuff for me, quick and easy with hand lathering on the face, and quite slick. I have too many other soaps and creams to try and use now so I wouldn't go out and buy any unless I wanted the try the experiment above.

It's as good as any for starting out. I used Cremo for a short time but grew bored because I was looking for a more tradition experience. I started face lathering and have since moved on to a bowl.
