I tried the Razorock Fresco today, and wasn't that impressed. It was really cushioning, but I expected it to be way more slick. I'll keep it around, I just had high expectations.
That's surprising. The only thing I've found slicker than RR is Pedal Pushers. And PPF is a teflon coated penguin swimming underwater slick.
I was quite unsatisfied with my shave in general. I only got two shaves out of a 7 O'clock yellow and went for a third and was disappointed with that as well. I put a new blade in, and I'll try it with a Fat Handle Tech in a couple days. SWMBO loves the smell. Like... she liked it so much it might have to stick around even if I hated it I'm going to give it another honest go. I bet with a new blade it'll be a champ.
I have said I didn't like Razorock... I think I jumped the gun to soon. I find myself using the Fresco over my GFT Spanish Leather every shave.
Sheesh....Kids these days. There were originally 4 soaps released by RR: XXX, Classic, Fresco and Cocoa. These were and still are great soaps. Then came the Artisan Line such as Mughetto Bologna, Napoleon, Third Eye, etc. This is my favorite line and in my opinion, some of the best stuff you will ever use. Lately, the best stuff Joe has put out is XXX-2 and ABCBA. Next month is the re-release of P.160. Watch out.
