    The Imperial Razor Co (1893-1938, NY, USA) made some very nice shavers!
    Has the razor been honed or are you looking to do -it-yourself or send it out?

    It is honed by the gentleman I'm buying it from, and I made sure he has a reputation for being able to do such things well.

    Well, the Kropp blade cleaned up rather nicely…..:) some trace pitting remains near the spine on one side, but its of no consequence. I may still try an remove more of the steel to minimize the appearance.

    Now to decide on the scales.
    I just so happen to have a near-completed set made from
    Wenge     that fits the Kropp perfectly.
    The set still has some finish issues, but once I get those issues ironed out, they should be a good fit for this razor…

    This is going to be a beautiful razor. I can see catching another strain of RAD from this thread. I've always wanted to try one of these.

    That is excellent work. Looks like you have put a lot of time and effort into it. I wish that I had the patience, to do that.Much less be able to do it without my hands going numb.
    You my friend are what I would call a Perfectionist. Great work.
