    I have a puck I use for travel. As I get my other soaps down, they get mixed in. I might look at pushing it into a stick the next time I mix it up.

    I would guess less than 7 shaves, and that was only because I was in the ICU for 3 days in 2014 and had a pick line in my neck.

    Wow! I had an amazing shave! The Super Speed provides me as close of a shave as many of the more aggressive razors. TTT baby.

    Brush: WDC-5 Boar w/Green Handle
    Soap: RazoRock Don Donato
    A/S: Booster Iced Lime

    Got in a round of golf today. First round ever this late in December.
    Excellent shave with this combination. I like the Booster Iced Lime A/S.
    Anybody know this beer?

    Well, I love this TGN synthetic knot. It is soft yet has plenty of backbone for face lathering. It whips up a great lather in no time. It is near a badger in performance and I really like how quickly it dries. I also have a BodyShop synthetic that isn't nearly as nice. I could easily make the TGN brush my one and only if I had to. Fortunately, I don't have to.

    Thanks Doug! I don't put any soap in the scuttle other than what comes out of the soap container on the brush. Today, I loaded the brush from the container for about a minute and it worked great. Yesterday I did it for 30 seconds and it was pretty thin.

    Thanks Bama! I owe much of my skill and enjoyment in shaving to this thread of yours with so many great folks contributing every day. I learned a while back that if you want to be able to duplicate something, you need to know what you did. I also wanted to have photos of what the brush looked like when I load enough and end up with great lather - for when I don't do as well. ;)
