Doug, do you remember the classic photo of the ski-jumper in action with the skyline of Sapporo in the background? SI, I think it was.
No I don't remember that picture, however, it should be noted that I can't remember what I had for breakfast.
I don't recall a brass handle brush either. I can't find anything about it. Perhaps some one here can chime in on it.
As I have just joined tsd today my focus won't be 30 days but I will focus on my technique and try a different blade every shave providing my sample pack arrives 2morrow as expected I will also look forward to the next 30 day focus
Dec 14 Shave 2.7 Today's cream is Palmolive for Men, the Europe version. For some reason it would not lather in the scuttle but lathered on my face and then it was good in the scuttle. I tried and tried but could not get the wet, slick yogurt lather I prefer, it seemed thick but a little to much air. I tried more product, more water, etc.. While the lather is good enough for a DE or SE shave I would not want to use this with a SR. The first couple of passes went smoothly but the 3rd and 4th felt a little rough. Using my Barbasol Floating Head with a new Super Iridium blade so this should be a smooth shave. In the end I finished with a BBS but the alum revealed some stinging. I attribute this to the Palmolive. You should feel to jump in now and join this months 30 Day Focus. No need to wait, I even changed my focus after 10 days.
Welcome to the 30 day crew. Just start right in and continue next month. You'll find we are an easy going bunch.
Welcome aboard. Cookies are down the hall. Clowns to the left, jokers to the right. Looking forward to hearing about your set up.
Good idea, find a blade that feels good then buy 30 days worth of that blade and spend January working on your technique. Welcome to the Den and the 30 day shenanigans focus group.
That is a good idea I have been persisting with Astra platinum as I jumped in and got 100 but I'm not completely satisfied so with the help of this focus and my sample pack I will find which blade suits and spend the next focus improving my technique with my chosen blade
