December 24 Z3 Gillette Super Speed Feather (1) Semogue 830 Route 66 Lumberjack Two passes plus touch-ups Thayer's Lavender witch hazel, unrefined shea butter, and CC Bay Rum I've used this set up for all my Christmas Week shaves. I mostly finished with Floid Vigoroso AS, but I switched to CC Bay Rum today. The bay rum scent seems more appropriate for Christmas. The Super Speed is a mild razor, yet it provides a near-BBS shave with no irritation. Most days, I go ATG on my lower neck for both passes, giving me a much closer shave. Every so often, I will skip day's shave or eliminate one the ATG passes on my neck to give it a rest. I like to shave with more aggressive razors, but I think a mild razor like the SS works better for me as a daily shaver. The Semogue 830 brush has really softened up and broken in. I like the overall feel and handling of this brush better than the Omega Pro. The Route 66 Lumberjack soap continues to impress with easy, slick, protective, and great smelling lather. My Bride loves the scent, so that's an added bonus. I hope everyone has a Blessed Christmas. My Bride and I are spending Christmas Eve with my dear mom, my sister, and her husband.
Did they build this Mall in place of Busch Stadium #2(or should wee call it McGwire Park?) If they did, I'll be mad, since I was at McGwire in 66 you recall.
Merry Christmas to all you fun shavers here...course I might have time to describe my X-mas shave before spending the day with family.

I was just thinking before, is it appropriate to post about my Christmas shave during Christmas dinner
Great shave tonight. So good in fact my wife had a go with my razor ect on her legs. Still enjoying the brush and my lathering is much better. I decided to crunch some numbers on my new way of life since I got into this art to save money I was spending £13 pm on cartridges. If you disregard my initial investment I have spent 90 pound in 1 month on shaving. I'm not moaning it's worth every penny, I just love the irony have a great Christmas my new found friends
Merry Christmas to the 30DC! I have really enjoyed my time the past year spent with the individuals who participate on this thread. I appreciate all of your input and help.
My shave this morning was pretty simple. '59 Fat Boy GSB(??) 20 mm WD synthetic Hydra Axe Shield Pinaud Citrus Musk The Hydra/WD combo was amazing and smelled eatable. I resisted and instead lathered up some of the best lather I have ever had. I opened up the FatBoy all the way to 9. Did a 2 pass XTG/ATG with an end result of BBS with no irritation. I expected Pain so I skin conditioned with the Axe Shield and then sprayed on some Citrus Musk for the finish. I'm not sure how many days I had used the GSB since I've been yo-yoing around on different razors this month. It wasn't as smooth as it could have been so I'm thinking day 4 or 5. I hardly have stubble now almost 12 hours later. Had a nice Christmas eve stopping in on my Fiance's family. Got home and pulled up the NORAD Santa Tracker for the kids. Bundled them off to bed when Santa hit South America. Now I have to stage some Santa tracks and eat the piles of cookies they wanted left out. Also I have to quietly move an entire closet full of gifts downstairs under the tree.
